Acceptance
The card is accepted at 90 percent of U.S. retail fueling locations, including 13,000 Exxon and Mobil locations. When you fuel at Exxon or Mobil locations, you may be eligible for monthly savings that can really add up. Plus, of the 140,000 accepting fuel stations, approximately 100,000 locations offer pay-at-the-pump convenience. Your drivers will appreciate how easy it is to use the ExxonMobil Universal Card.

Product Class Controls* can help you prevent unauthorized purchases by setting rules for how often and when your drivers can make purchases. You can choose from four product classes – Automotive, Fuel, Merchandise and/or Oil – to restrict purchases by selecting authorized products and setting limitations on these products. If a transaction exceeds any of your limits, the system is designed to decline the transaction, subject to the limitations described online.
Setting very narrow purchase controls could interfere with your drivers’ ability to do their jobs, so Purchase Alerts provide you with a second level of security. You keep your drivers on schedule, while staying alert to possible problems. You’ll receive an e-mail when one of your cards has exceeded your purchase guidelines, so you can decide if any action is required.
Security
When your drivers use the ExxonMobil Universal Card, they must provide an authorized driver ID number plus the vehicle’s odometer reading. Together with the information encoded in the card’s magnetic stripe, the program can tell you who bought what, where, and when and for how much -- and can even tell you how well your vehicles are performing by reporting the cost per mile and miles per gallon.
Each month you’ll receive easy-to-read reports along with your invoice. Our comprehensive Fleet Products Report and Summary Reports help you track almost every aspect of fleet card use.
Online Account Access
Saving hours of administrative time each week can free you up to focus on more critical issues. As a Universal Card member you have a password-protected site where you can view and print up to two months of past invoices and precisely control payments.
