Question:
Why Doesn’t Mobil 1 10W-30 Still Have the API CF Mark?
Your 10W-30 full synthetic had an CF classification and now it doesn't. I have been using it in my Kubota diesel. I hope it doesn't damage my engine. What gives?
-- Charlie Reed, Bellaire, OH
Answer:
API discontinued licensing engine oils against the API CF specification on December 30, 2010. Though Mobil 1™ 10W-30 motor oil still meets the performance requirements of the classification, with its discontinuation, we have chosen to remove the claim from our labels. Learn more about the specifications met by Mobil 1 10W-30.
