Will Using Synthetic Motor Oils After 30,000 Miles Dry Out Seals and Gaskets?

This is a myth.  You can continue using Mobil 1, Mobil 1 Extended Performance, or Mobil 1 High Mileage motor oil for the life of your vehicle.
