 | | Question: | | Does Mobil Have a Synthetic Equivalent for 15W-40? | |
I currently use Mobil 1 5W-30 full synthetic in my wife's Toyota Matrix. I
have a 2006 Ford Super Duty with the 6.0 diesel; it calls for 15W-40 at
5,000-mile intervals on the oil change. Should I use the 5W-40 full synthetic
Mobil or do you make a 15W-40 synthetic? If I use the full synthetic Mobil on
my truck can I extend the oil changes to say 7,500 miles? I currently go 7,500
on my wife's Toyota and your Mobil 1 holds up great. I will not use any other
oil. Thanks.

Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 is formulated to exceed the latest industry
requirements for diesel engines. ExxonMobil recommends that you follow your
owner's manual recommended oil change interval.
