We have no plans at this time to add to or change the Mobil 1 Extended Performance products.

Why Was Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15W-50 Discontinued?
Why did you guys discontinue the Mobil 1 EP 15W-50?
We streamlined our 15W-50 offer to focus on the oil that will be closer to customers' requirements and habits (Mobil 1 15W-50).  Both motor oils provide outstanding protection.

Any Plans to Sell Mobil 1 5W-50 at Stores?
Will you be marketing Mobil 1 5W-50 any time soon?..any time? My car calls for it. So far I can only find it at the Ford dealership.
Due to current demand levels we are only offering this product at select dealers.  There are no plans to add this viscosity grade to our retail offer.

Mobil 1 15W-50 Container Size and Mobil 1 5W-50 Availability
As of autumn 2007, I could buy 5-quart jugs of Mobil 1 15W-50 at Wal-Mart. Now, in June 2008, I can only seem to find 1-quart bottles at Wal-Mart. Has this size been discontinued in this grade? Also, ...
Mobil 1 15W-50 is still available at Wal-Mart in 5-quart jugs; please check with your local store again.  Mobil 1 5W-50 is not discontinued either but it’s not available at retail, only at car dealers...
