Question:
How to Stop Oil Burning in a Turbo Engine
I have a k24/k20 turbo Honda. Been running Mobil 1™ 10W-30, and considering switching to Mobil 1 15W-50 to stop oil burning, and to protect the new motor with the zinc additive. Motor has about 1500 miles on it. Turbo really seems to do a number on the 10W-30. Motor is built a bit loose to handle the high hp, so I was wondering if 15W-50 would be a good choice? I live in the Midwest. (For weather reference)

Answer:
Mobil 1 15W-50 is our race-proven technology, specifically formulated with a high zinc content and high viscosity to protect the extreme environments of high performance engines.
