|Photo 1 - Using original factory measurements as a guide is a good
place to start.
|Photo 2 - Tape can be used to create a template off of another vehicle
or an old fender. Transfer the template to the new fender. Use bodylines and
fender edges for placement references.
|Photo 3 - With the template on the new fender, measure over to place
emblems in the original location.
|Photo 4 - Use a sharp punch to make guide points for the first drill
bit. The tape also helps prevent the paint from flaking.
|Photo 5 - Start with a small bit to drill pilot holes for the next size
|Photo 6 - Next, use a drill bit slightly bigger then the emblem pins to
allow for wiggle room in placement.
