Photo 2 - Tape can be used to create a template off of another vehicle or an old fender. Transfer the template to the new fender. Use bodylines and fender edges for placement references.

Photo 4 - Use a sharp punch to make guide points for the first drill bit. The tape also helps prevent the paint from flaking.
