My 2005 Saab 9-5 HOT (High Output Turbo) is powered by a high-performance, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. To meet the performance demands of the car, the manufacturer recommends using Mobil 1. Being a firm believer that if you take care of your vehicle, it will take care of you, I have always used the recommended oil.
Living in the Midwest where temperatures can range from -15° in the winter to over 110° in the summer, I feel it is important to use engine oil designed for such extremes.
