I have a rare 2008 Atomic Orange Metallic Z06 Corvette. In 2008 there were 7,731 Z06s made, which represented 22% of the total Corvette production. Of those 7,731 Z06s, only 516 were painted Atomic Orange Metallic. This rare color accounted for only 6.7% of all Z06s produced.
I want to ensure that the proper maintenance is performed on this Corvette that will probably end up being a collector. Therefore I will continue to use Mobil 1 synthetic oil as I did in my previous Corvette, but plan on switching to Mobil 1 0W-30 Advanced Fuel Economy for my new Vette. I do all my own maintenance and believe in the qualities that synthetic oils possess. My last Corvette was a 1996 Collectors Edition with an LT4 engine that was limited and only produced for that year. I believe in Mobil 1 synthetic oils to the point that I have switched my wife's Lexus (2002), my high mileage Toyota truck (1987) and my Z-turn lawn mower to Mobil 1.
