I purchased a 2009 Toyota Tacoma about a year ago in August 2009 mainly for its fuel economy being a compact truck. I use it for light hauling occasionally, but mainly drive it daily from work and home again, 40 miles total. I do drive in stop-and-go traffic (I live in the traffic capital of the world; Los Angeles, CA!) everyday as well.
I used Mobil 1 0W-20 Advanced Fuel Economy motor oil on my first oil change at 5,000 miles and noticed an increase in fuel mileage from 360 miles per tank to 390 miles per tank. I've had three more oil changes at 5,000-mile intervals using Mobil 1 and about a month ago, I reached 425 miles on a full tank (but I cut it really close to going empty...). I've always loved the performance and fuel mileage I get when using Mobil 1 synthetic oil and consider it to be the premier synthetic oil brand in the industry! Thanks Mobil 1!
