This is my '66 Ford Mustang hard top with a 200 CID engine and dealer-installed A/C that I've owned for eight years. Originally a SC car, I didn't have to do any body work but I did replace most of the shiny things such as the center rings on the hub caps, bumpers, door handles and the like.  In 2005 the engine decided to hang it up.  The winter was spent rebuilding her from top to bottom. The only choice for oil is Mobil 1.

On a brand new engine it's hard not to realize the benefits of Mobil 1. I noticed how tight the engine was during break in with a conventional dyno oil. The thing heated up quickly too. That's the critical time when you really don't want the added protection of Mobil 1. When it was time for that first Mobil 1 fill up my car was so excited. Starts were smooth and effortless. Acceleration was no longer labored and engine temps ran normal even at high speeds/RPM's. The car is three years younger than I am and it has the luxury of being filled up with the best to keep her young. If only I could find something that will do the same for me.
