I liked the PT when they debuted more than a decade ago, but felt they lacked power. When the turbo version came out I gave them a second look. Now, with the Stage 1 upgrade installed and a bunch of suspension work, I've got a little hauler that also hauls! She runs low 14s in the 1/4 mile and is comfortable for freeway cruising all day long.
The turbo is oil cooled, and since turbos get crazy hot I wanted to protect the whole package as best as possible. So with 500 miles on the clock I switched to Mobil 1 and have changed the oil religiously every 3000 miles. Some say that's overkill with full synthetic oil, but I think it's cheap insurance. She's due for another change in 280 miles, and she'll get another round of Mobil 1.
