| | I bought my '01 Honda Civic for economical purposes. I'm a college student and park the car in a parking lot all week throughout the year. When I do drive, it is usually in long intervals so I need an oil that can provide protection from the first turn of the engine. It is a 2-door coupe with a 5-speed manual transmission that I intend to continue servicing with Mobil 1. With the proven protection it offers, I can't imagine going with anything less.
From the first oil change with Mobil 1, I have noticed improved gas mileage, smoother cold starts and a clean idle. The time between changes is also great with longer intervals with the same extended protection. This saves precious time and money. I am particular when it comes to my car and it's only the best. Keeping the engine and other mechanical parts clean and efficient is an expectation most certainly met. It's only Mobil 1.
