I really love my Trailblazer. I haven't had any problems with it. I bought it with the 5.3 liter V8. I get very decent gas mileage. I try to keep my SUV clean and I am very strict about all of the maintenance.
The weekend after I bought my Trailblazer, I replaced the factory fill oil with Mobil 1 5W-30. I follow the recommended change intervals and change my oil every 3,000 miles. I can tell how my engine runs that a big part of it is Mobil 1. I get great gas mileage and I'm sure there is little to no wear in my engine. I use Mobil 1 in my wife's car, as well as my Mom's. Mobil 1 is the best oil you can get.
