| | I was looking for a good used Jeep Wrangler when I discovered my doctor had one for sale. I could not believe it when he told me he had this 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that he purchased new for his lake cottage. The Jeep only had 2,780 miles on it. It was stored in the garage and only driven on weekends during the summer. What a find - a brand new 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Knowing that this Jeep has spent most of its life sitting in a garage, I wanted to change out all of the fluids due to possible condensation settling in. I wanted to go synthetic and what better products to use than Mobil 1. So I have installed the following Mobil 1 products:
- Mobil 1 10W-30 engine oil
- Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF in the automatic transmission and the transfer case
- Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube LS 75W-90 in the front and rear differentials
- Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease in all greased fittings
I now feel that I have protected my Jeep the best that I can. It runs great, uses no oil, and has no leaks. The transmission shifts very smooth and the transfer case and differentials are quiet. I look forward to multiple thousands of miles with this Jeep and Mobil 1 products.
