I bought this car used and this is my first American-built automobile; the others were an Infiniti QX4, a Mercedes C280 and an Audi A4 1.8t. I have always used Mobil 1 even in my Harley Fat Boy when they said "Oh no, you can't use synthetics." Also I have used Mobil 1 in my frame-off reproductions of a 1970 fully blown Dodge Challenger, a 1970 Mustang Mach 1 and a 1996 stroked 383 Chevy Corvette with a Vortech supercharger and twin nitrous tanks..all using Mobil 1!
I can get 30 miles on the highway with this Lincoln. I am not a mechanic but retired now from law enforcement...Driving habits do play a part but using the 0W-20 synthetic oil proves it works on increasing the mileage.
