I bought this truck from my brother who bought it new in 2004. For most of the six years my brother owned this truck, he had the dealership change the oil with conventional oil. In 2009 he got a new truck so I took this one off his hands with 119,000 miles on the clock as I saw a lot of potential in it.
After reading about the benefits of synthetics and how Mobil 1 High Mileage can clean up an engine that has used conventional oil for a while, I decided to give it a try at 125,000 miles and boy am I impressed! My gas mileage increased about 1-2 mpg and the formerly tired old Hemi really woke up! I even looked on the dipstick after using Mobil 1 for a while and it actually cleaned some of the conventional oil varnish off of it....I can only imagine how it is cleaning the inside of the motor. Before trying Mobil 1 High Mileage I was thinking about buying a new motor, but not anymore. The engine really came back to life after using Mobil 1 High Mileage. I am looking forward to getting at least another 120,000 miles out of this engine, maybe more!
