| | We had never owned a nice sports car, so we saved our money for a long time and kept our eyes open for just the right one. This car is a 2001 with only 30,540 miles. It had only been driven 1,500 miles in the four years prior to us purchasing it. It has the SP1 sports package and the retractable hard top. It has an automatic transmission with tiptronic shifting.
This car has always ran Mobil 1 0W-40 and that is what I have used as well. I feel this oil has protected this engine with the low miles that were put on it. The motor still runs as new. I'm sure the oil sat in the pan for long periods of time because of the low mileage.
