I ordered my E550 from the Mercedes-Benz factory in October 2009. It was built during the first three weeks in November 2009 and finally made it to me in early December. I upgraded the tires to Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics, changed the headlights to PIAA Xtreme Whites, and tinted the windows.
I trust Mobil 1 for optimal performance. I changed the factory fill to Mobil 1 0W-40 myself after 1,000 miles and then at 5,000 miles. Mobil 1 0W-40 keeps the engine purring and it pulls strong at all RPMs. Great mileage, averaging about 21 MPG (with 382 HP)! My last Mercedes E320 logged 155,000 miles on Mobil 1 0W-40 and never had any engine-related issues. Your oil is the best and my only choice!
