My truck is a 2004 Chevy Silverado 4x4 extended cab with a 3.8 V8. I bought it with 14,000 miles on it and immediately changed the oil to Mobil 1. I have put 100,000 miles on it and the engine still runs like new and uses no oil. With Mobil 1, I've experienced no wear and tear on the engine, and the ease of starting in the winter time. My truck gets around 19-20 mpg in the city and 20-22 mpg on the highway.
