This triple black 1990 L98 Corvette has a number of chassis mods including coil over shocks, complete rod end links in the rear and nylon bushings in the front. I drive my car often -- to work, on long trips and I also drag a little trailer to carry the 18 x 10.5 wheels with A6 Hoosier tires to auto-x events all over northern California.
I bought this car used in 1993 with only 7,500 miles on the clock and I have used Mobil 1 ever since. At 75,000 miles, I had the dreaded head gasket coolant leak and did a minor rebuild. The main and rod bearings looked like new and we reused them. The car now has a supercharger for a little more rush. I'm still depending on Mobil 1 to keep my engine clean and healthy.
