It's not much to look at but this truck has been through the paces since I bought it. I used to run Valvoline racing oil in it and only thought it was performing at its peak. I make frequent deliveries to other salvage yards all day long, at least 150 miles a day in 110° summer days to 10° winter days. When I made the change to Mobil 1, it unleashed my motor's true potential. It's only a 4.3L V6 five-speed manual and it runs like a fleet vehicle.
I run Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 and since the switch, my engine idles smoother, I get better gas mileage, my engine operating temperature dropped a little bit, acceleration has improved, and the oil pressure is steady and no longer fluctuating. Outstanding performance.
