My truck is a 1997 Chevy S10 extended cab sportside that has been converted
into a summer-driven show truck. It has a 4.3L V6 and a fully adjustable air
suspension with engine-driven compressor. The truck has 17" Boyd Coddington
billet wheels and can lay frame with the flick of a switch, with the help of a
rear frame c-notch and Air Lift suspension components.
After switching to Mobil 1 5W-30 full synthetic, the truck runs smoother at
idle and now runs much cooler at slow speeds, which comes in handy when
cruising down Woodward Ave. during the annual Dream Cruise. Lifter noise has
been reduced, and performance seems to be enhanced due to the reduced internal
