This CBR600RR is a formidable all-around motorcycle for me. Although it is mainly geared for track duty, hence its Race Ready designation, it has served me well over the last three years. I use it for track time, weekend rides into the mountains, long trips and commuting. With 110 horsepower and less than 400 pounds, it provides more than enough power for everyday riding. Exploring the high redline, which is 15,000 rpm, makes the bike a blast to ride.
Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 is the best suited oil for me because it covers the widest range of temperatures and with its superior synthetic performance, it gives me unsurpassed protection. I can go to track days, which are probably the hardest on any engine because of their constant high engine rpm, and not worry about oil breakdown and having to change the oil after the track day, which is sometimes the case with conventional oils. Commuting and running errands on the motorcycle, which sees plenty of stop-and-go traffic or going on long-distance trips consisting of long, non-varying rpm, does not present a problem because of Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40's great protection.
