This car is one of only 1,000 Collector Edition convertibles made, and the first car to pace a Daytona 500 NASCAR race with no modifications needed. I drooled when they were new and finally found an affordable one a few years ago. The aluminum V8 engines in these cars are known to have an inherent tapping sound. I tried Mobil 1 0W-40 and found the noise had been virtually eliminated. The engine pulls like a freight train but cruises smooth.
