| | With over 110,000 miles on it, my 1991 Mercury Tracer has seen it all. My son was in his stroller smiling at the saleswomen in the dealership when I bought it and now he drives the car to school daily. After the dealer maintenance stopped I made sure to put Mobil 1 10W-30 in it. My wife put the first 70,000 miles on it driving to and from work each day, nearly an hour each way. Since the end of its highway commuter career the car has been put on the painful around-town driver duty. With constant stops plus multiple starts even on cold winter mornings, the car has performed like a champ. With my son now driving, the Tracer takes quite a beating hauling sports gear, school projects, and one time a giant pond that hung out the back! The car has recently been adorned with spinners; my son's friends love them!
I truly believe Mobil 1 has made the difference in keeping the Tracer running all these years. Without any major engine work and very little worry, the car has done well. Recently my son and his friend changed the oil from Mobil 1 10W-30 to Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-30 to better take care of the 110,000+ mile engine. I have always used Mobil 1 in all my cars and have enjoyed the benefits of synthetic oil, especially the peace of mind on cold winter mornings and long family trips.
