CONTESTS: ExxonMobil Lubricants & Petroleum Specialties Company, a division of Exxon Mobil Corporation (“Sponsor”), will conduct a weekly sweepstakes and a monthly performance gallery contest on www.mobiloil.com during the period from February 1, 2010 through January 31, 2011 (the “Entry Period”).
The sweepstakes consists of a Question of the Week drawing, which gives you the opportunity to correctly answer a multiple-choice question conducted each week during the Entry Period. If you want to participate in the sweepstakes, log into www.mobiloil.com either prior to or immediately after correctly answering the question and you will be entered into the weekly drawing.
The Performance Gallery is a photo essay contest conducted each month during the Entry Period. You can upload an image of your vehicle or the vehicle you are responsible for maintaining along with a description of it and your experience(s) using Mobil 1 or Mobil motor oils.
An additional sweepstakes may be added during 2010.

Question of the Week Sweepstakes You can enter the Question of the Week sweepstakes during the Entry Period either (1) on-line or (2) by first class mail.
To enter online, go to www.mobiloil.com and become a registered user of the site. After completing registration and remaining logged in, you will be automatically entered into the weekly drawing if you correctly answer the Question of the Week.
Or if you are already a registered user of the site, simply log into the site by entering your registered user name and password, then answer the Question of the Week correctly, which enters you into the drawing.
To enter by mail (and without registering for the site or answering any questions), print your name and address (including city, state, and zip code), age, email address (if you have one), day and evening phone numbers in addition to the Weekly Drawing Period you wish to enter during the Entry Period, on a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper and mail your entry in a (#10) envelope to: Premiere Global Sports/ ExxonMobil, 14 Penn Plaza, Suite 925, New York, NY 10122. Performance Gallery Contest You can enter this monthly photo essay contest during the Entry Period either (1) on-line or (2) by first class mail.
To enter online, go to www.mobiloil.com and become a registered user of the site. You must then complete the on-line Performance Gallery entry form which includes an uploaded image of your vehicle or the vehicle you are responsible for maintaining, a description of the vehicle (including the current mileage), and an essay from you on “Why Mobil 1 or Mobil motor oils make a difference.” You will need to complete and accept the on-line release form to finish the process of submitting your entry. There are no minimum or maximum word requirements for the essay but your entry is judged largely on what you write. Any personal vehicle, make or model is acceptable.
To enter by mail, there are four steps:

Locate a photo of your vehicle or a vehicle that you are responsible for maintaining.
Write your essay on “Why Mobil 1 or Mobil motor oils make a difference.”
On a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, write your name and address (including city, state, and zip code), age, e-mail address (if you have one), and your day and evening phone numbers. Include the vehicle's model year, its make and model, the current mileage and any nickname you may have for your vehicle.
Mail these four items in an envelope to ExxonMobil Performance Gallery Contest, 3225 Gallows Road 6C0624, Fairfax, VA 22037. Proof of mailing shall not be considered proof of delivery or receipt. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries into the Performance Gallery will be judged against all other eligible entries received during that month. To be included in the Performance Gallery for a particular month, entries must be submitted by the dates in the chart below.

HOW WINNERS ARE SELECTED:
Question of the Week
Each week, Three (3) Prize Winners will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing by Premiere Global Sports, an independent agency, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. In addition, each month an additional prize winner will be selected from all eligible entries for that month. The drawings will be held on the dates indicated on the chart above. Winners will be notified by email or US mail.
Performance Gallery
Each month, a winner and two runnerups will be chosen among eligible entries for that month by a panel of qualified judges, whose interpretation of the rules and decisions are final and binding in all matters pertaining to this Contest. The winner and runnerups will be notified by email or by US mail. Content submitted by the winner and runnerups will appear on the web site in the following month.
The photograph and essay for all eligible entries will be judged based on the following criteria: a) appropriateness to subject matter (65%), b) originality (5%), c) clearness of writing and grammar in the essay (15%) and d) image/photo quality and appropriateness (15%). Photos featuring people posed in, near or against the vehicle are discouraged. The highest scoring entries will be selected as the winners. In the event of a tie, the entries involved will be re-judged by an additional qualified judge who will serve as a tiebreaker, and who will judge the entries according to the criteria listed above. Participants whose entries do not win are encouraged to enter again in a succeeding month.
PRIZES:
Question of the Week
Each Question of the Week prize winner will receive a Mobil 1 Signature Black Reflective Cap and a Mobil 1 Stainless Steel Beverage Bottle with Drink Spout. ARV of each weekly prize: $19.00. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Performance Gallery
Each month, one (1) winner will receive three (3) cases of Mobil 1 or Mobil motor oil of their choice, and the two (2) runner-ups will receive a Mobil 1 Fossil Brand Classic Sport Watch. Total ARV of all Photo Essay Contest Prizes: $3,800.
Total ARV of all prizes for the Question of the Week and Performance Gallery is $6,975. Limit one (1) prize per person, family or household per calendar year.
Certain restrictions may apply. In the event any prize is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute at a comparable price point. The turnaround time for prize fulfillment may be dependent upon prize availability and delays may occur. Winners will be notified of such delays. Delays do not immediately qualify as cause for a prize substitution.
ELIGIBILITY: Employees, officers and directors (and their immediate families and those living in their same households) of Sponsor and any of their affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, participating retailers, advertising, judging and promotion agencies are not eligible. Organizations will not be eligible to win a prize. The Question of the Week and Performance Gallery are governed by U.S. law and are subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Taxes on prizes and any other expenses not explicitly stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winners. Specifics of all prizes are in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable and may not be assigned. Certain prizes may not be available in all sizes or viscosities in the case of motor oil. The turnaround time for prize fulfillment may be dependent upon prize availability and delays may occur. Winners will be notified in the event of a significant delay. No prize or cash substitutes allowed except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability in a reasonable timeframe as determined by the Sponsor, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded as determined solely by the Sponsor. If any prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if an entrant fails to comply with any portion of these Official Rules (including all eligibility requirements) prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
By participating in the Question of the Week or Performance Gallery, entrants agree that Sponsor, its affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, participating retailers, advertising, judging and promotion agencies and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “Releasees”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrant from and against any and all claims, actions, and/or liability for, any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death, disability, and/or loss of property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize awarded or participation in these promotions or participation in any promotion or prize related activity. Releasees are not responsible for illegible, lost, late, damaged, incomplete, stolen, postage-due or misdirected mail or entries, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, Internet/Web site/ISP/accessibility or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic or for hardware or software program malfunctions, failures or difficulties. Any person found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes or Performance Gallery Contest or corrupting or impairing the administration, security, fairness or proper play of these promotions, as solely determined by the judges, will be disqualified. Moreover, in the event any portion of these promotions are compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor, which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play or proper submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Question of the Week sweepstakes or Performance Gallery contest, and award prizes from entries received up to the time of termination or suspension. In the case of a dispute in connection with an entry submitted online, the prize will be awarded in the name of the authorized email account holder. Except where legally prohibited, entrants grant permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation, including posting their name on the web site.
