Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF is a premium synthetic blend lubricant recommended for automatic transmissions and other applications that require a fluid satisfying Ford's Mercon V specification. It is also recommended for applications where a Ford Mercon type fluid is recommended. Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF is recommended by ExxonMobil for use in GM vehicles, 2005 and earlier.
Mobil DEXRON-VI ATF is recommended for 2006 and newer GM vehicles and for improved performance in 2005 and earlier GM vehicles, wherever DEXRON is specified. Additionally, Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF is suitable for use in both newer and older Chrysler automatic transmission applications.

The unique formulation of Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF combines synthetic and conventional base oils with a high-performance additive package. Compared with conventional ATFs, this advanced formulation provides superior performance in such critical areas as low-temperature flow, wear protection, viscosity and frictional stability and resistance to thermal breakdown. These outstanding features translate into significant operational benefits, and help to provide:

Applications
Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF satisfies Ford's Mercon V and Ford Mercon specifications.
Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF is recommended by ExxonMobil for use in 2005 and earlier GM vehicles.
Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF is also acceptable in any Audi, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Opel, Renault, Toyota, and Volkswagen transmissions that require a Dexron-III or Dexron-II type fluid.
Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF is also suitable for use in both newer and older Chrysler applications.
NOTE: For automatic transmissions in Ford Motor Company vehicles where Ford specification ESP-M2C166H or ESP-M2C138CJ fluids are specified, Mobil Multi-Vehicle ATF or Mobil ATF D/M is recommended. For Ford automatic transmissions that require Type F fluid (M2C33-F), Mobil ATF Type F is recommended.
Automatic transmissions should be checked for proper fluid levels at regular intervals, and the fluid should be changed at manufacturer-recommended intervals. However, this may vary due to your vehicle's operating conditions. Some manufacturers recommend more frequent changes of transmission fluid under severe driving conditions, such as heavy traffic, hot weather and trailer pulling.
